    From what I know, not exactly. Melo can make the commitment and then Rockets can make the trade since there is no signing documents until July 10.

    That's how Dwight's commitment worked right? Royce White deal went down later in the night after Dwight's decision came on July 5th.

    But yeah, both announcements(if he chooses the Rockets) should be in quick succession regardless of the order.

    Yes they were at UCLA but, other nba players play games there in the offseason too. You cant assume that it means anything.

    As Melo should. He needs to turnover every stone. Kobe is a beast, i would never expect him to not be ready.

    I've always heard that NBAers go play ball at UCLA student activities center in the offseason. More or less trying to keep my fellow rockets fans from losing their heads over this. :)
