For Melo it's not about the money....it's about the glitz and glam....so NY or LA is not surprising. But Phil will be the anchor....

The way this was written is confusing

Bosh will be chased with Lowry AND Melo out?

If Lebron leaves Miami we will chase him? Lakers will chase Melo and Bron duo?

    Rockets love Bosh?

    Gasol
    Randle
    Melo
    Kobe

It isn't like that is a total lottery team, right? Better than the Knicks for sure.

Both players as reported have asked how they could play together in LA in BOTH meetings...

Pretty easy to figure out. Now that Melo and Lowry aren't options, we pursue Bosh if LeBron leaves Miami.

He is seeing if there is a way to play with Melo.... Lakers are trying to trade Nash to someone to clear the extra room.

Lakers are jealous they don't have a trade partner like Morey does in Hinkie.

Teams are really starting to get annoyed lol (it's funny, they want the NBA to interject somehow)

Depends on Kobe's "health" and whether he can come back. He looked awful in the short stint he played last season.

Don't know how good Randle will be, but that team will compete for a playoff spot, I'd assume. Not even close to contending, though.

Not a total lottery team but by no means a playoff team either.

    Who are "both players"?

Damn Melo don't go to Lakers man... If not Houston I wanted him to either stay in NY or go to Bulls. Is the Simmons tweet about him down to Lakers/Bulls/Knicks true??? That means we're out of the Melo sweepstakes?

Bron+Melo... Lakers trying to make it happen.

    Is it unlikely? Ya!

So they're looking to pair Kobe, Lebron, and Melo... Man I would love to see that team fail.

Yeah not close to contending, not in the west.

We also do not know what Kobe this is. Kobe is human, I would not be surprised to see him at Wade like levels when he returns.

So it's looking like Houston's definitely out of the picture for Melo, right?

And assuming Bosh isn't available either, is there any other backup plan that Houston's working on?

So my question is, with Lowry a Raptor, if Melo signs with LA or NYC as expected, and LBJ re-signs with the Heat as expected (bringing Bosh with him of course), what is plan D? Obviously Lin stays, but what, pluck Love away from Minny at the All-Star break?
