I would go as far as to say it would be the biggest free agent "upset" of all time. As of right now both Amick and Woj, both super reliable inside have not included houston in any of their tweets recently. At this time last year, there was also a lot of smoke, but both of them were mentioning Houston as strong candidates in almost all of their tweets even when other teams were said to be "gaining" ground.

He wanted to make an informed decision.

I think he's the best fit for us. We'd play him at 4.

Sucks, we could have won rings with him but I hope him and his wife enjoy their stay in LA or NY. Hope they win too because the fire is quick to start in those places when they don't.

...I know this is kind of late to mention, but I just discovered there's a place called Carmelo's Italian Restaurant in Houston that offers private rooms for big events. Why didn't our entourage take him there? :(

This doesn't scream a guy who is potentially not going to be a Rocket this year. I think Parsons will be back and we will get that third star this week. I think Parsons can become a 4th star and will be primed to have a huge season. I think we are in for a good couple of days.

    >,> that tweet doesn't mean anything, you're putting too much into it.

It means he is taking time out of his day to make a tweet to a 2nd round pick based on a cool dunk in a summer league game. It means more than you think.

Any word from your contact? You actually had some legit info that Doc credited you on regarding the Asik deal, which is still not official. Maybe it's for something bigger picture?

Yea, I couldn't get anything else from the person, wasn't a direct friend but a friend of a friend. I think the fact that the trade hasn't been executed yet screams that the trade is very malleable.

Even if they dont get that mega star....they will prolly have to trade Lin given the awkwardness that awaits. They can get 2 more B or C players and still sign Parsons if they want to

Magic, Kareem and Worthy certainly weren't one.

Jordan, Pippen and Rodman certainly weren't one.

McHale, Parish and Bird certainly weren't one.

And yes it would be awesome if we get Melo, Bosh, ect. but, its not the end of the world. Replacing Asik and Lin with cheaper pieces than can help is like that "sense-able applebees" dinner, but sometimes simple works. The Rockets biggest problem was team defense. Had the rockets played better team defense they mighta won 60 games and advanced further in the playoffs. They can get Melo or Bosh if they want but, they still gotta learn how play team D and win playoffs games.

    Lakers feeling EXTREMELY CONFIDENT....

If Bron leaves Miami as well... Bosh will be chased with Kyle out and Melo.

    Rockets love him.

Where would LeBron go? Does he have HOU on his list if he bolts MIA?
