    If he wanted to play on a team that's at least 3 years away from title contention, he'd just take the Knicks money.

    If you hate the Lakers, the prospect of a max contract Melo signing along with Kobe, a crippled Nash, the legendary Robert Sacre and basically nothing else has to fill you heart with glee. I would still rather he went to the Rockets, but go for it.
