I've got advanced degrees in psych and theology and I can say there's a lot of ignorance, hypocrisy and misplaced unresolved issues going on in some of these posts. It's what makes CF such a toxic place these days.

yeah because its a worn out narrative where posters don't even have any actualy thoughts on Lin as a basketball player, they just exaggerate criticisms to spite LOFs. They got the ball rolling by dragging Harden/McHale/Beverley through the mud but this has more than carried on and the vitriol towards a player who did nothing but try his best as a player (He just isn't very good) has absolutely meant you can't have any reasonable discussion regarding him, the fact that some people choose not to distinguish between Lin the basketball player and Lin crazy fans is just rediculous

It is going to be tough to move Lin without giving up anything.

Lin is not even a top 25 PG in this league and has one of the worst contracts in the league for a back up role player. I don't think too many teams want him as a player for what he produces.

What if Melo is holding out on his decision to see if the Rockets can actually move Lin? He could be calling their bluff.

Not really. Profit from Memorabilia not sold in the stadium is shared by the league.

Per your bolded, tell me again how Lin faired in the playoffs his first season with NY & Hou? Oh yeah, injured.

I'll be glad when this border line player is gone and all his myopic fan boys with him.

The back lash against Lin here is in part on you & your ilk. Come in here doggin Beverley.

Don't really get why people still don't understand that this isn't remotely true.

I'd be surprised if the increased revenue by having Lin even covers that 15 million.

Like someone already said, Lin merchandise revenue is shared league wide. He likely helps boost attendance for the team he is on, but as we have all seen in road games, he helps other teams fill the stands with the Lin clan in each city.

He's great for the league as a whole money wise, but I just don't think he makes a huge financial difference for his individual team.

@GeryWoelfel: You never say never but the talk of Jeremy Lin coming to Bucks is just that: talk.

so your analysis of him is that he's an entitled brat that thinks he deserves to play simply because he's asian? so then you don't hate entitled religious hypocrites who thinks the world owes them something just because of their color (according to your posts)? Cuz I dunno about you, but that's a lot of things to dislike about another person. Surprised you don't hate him. You must be a good person.

    I doubt it.

Great guards have played for the bucks like Ray Allen and Sam cassell.

The prize is the draft pick with Lin .

The bucks made their mistake with signing an Asian player cause he's Asian.

There's a dude named Yi and they don't want Yi part 2

By far the most underrated player in the league, value low due the racism and accepting the 6th man role. Creates high % shots like no other player in the league. Just like Harden trade, good example of how stupid GMs really are. ;)
