This scouting report is pretty much spot on. He's an elite glue guy. If he got stronger, he could be close to Scotty Pippen. Never mistaken for primary option like Scotty was but similar skill set.

This video kind of makes me want Chris Bosh to be honest. I think the best case scenario for us is that Melo goes back to NYC where Phil begins to build something. LeBron and Love end up in Cleveland and we get Bosh while retaining everyone except Lin/Asik, then we can sign a defensive wing player and we are set. We become a power house and the East gets tougher while the West gets a little easier.

Man, I pray to God that we keep him. Players like this come once in a lifetime. If we can somehow pull a FA signing while keeping CP, we are deadly.

I don't think he's worth giving up though, unless we get something more sizeable/valuable in return (aka Lebron).

I can probably find at least 5 guys like him currently, who may even be better than him, playing right now.

Someones people really over value this guy. I dont get it.

He means that players with his playstyle that are also as handsome as him come once in a lifetime. And don't throw Gordon Haywerd out there, Chandler is out of his league. ;)

This is why I do what I do. I'm the equalizer.

I've been saying he needs to be more physical, especially when he uses his pump fake. That's an easy pair of free throws every game, maybe 3.

For next year, he needs to be more consistent defensively, be willing to take the contact, and develop a reliable post move, like a hook.

I'd be happy if he just play some defense. I'm glad they highlighted that.

I couldn't help but laugh during that sequence of bigger/stronger SF's posting him up and powering to the rim. The Lebron one was downright cringe-worthy!

Also regarding his shooting consistency, is Mark Price still with Charlotte? He's Morey's favorite player and can definitely help in that regard
