I would love Bosh on our team just as much as Love.

Who are we bidding against if we were to go after bosh? What team has the max money to pay him that he'd realistically play for? Lakers, maybe Suns? I guess what kind of money would it take to get him? That has to be factored into all of this discussion about signing bosh vs trading for love.

Bosh is the type of personality that would sign anywhere he so unpredictable... I can see him going where the most is though.

I really like Parsons but my god is he over rated on this board. The difference between Bosh and Love is way more than Parsons.

Of course Miami was gonna kick Chris to the curb.

Last time Bosh had the guarantee that he'd be part of the best team in basketball but have to take less money.

Re upping with Miami at a discount would basically mean taking another pay cut to now play for a team that is not going to be the best in basketball. It's tough for me to see how he could prefer Miami to Houston unless it's purely for social reasons. He wouldn't need to be alpha or even beta here.

Maybe it's too late now, but I wonder if the logical thing for Miami to do is to try to sign Melo and let Bosh go. Does Lebron think more of Melo (or is a closer to Melo), enough so that he would sign a long-term deal in such a situation?

Lots of conflicting interests here for Riley to navigate. So it is worth putting a call in at least. Sometimes players get pissed off at his current team during negotiations and become available even if he initially wanted to go back. This happened in summer 2009, when Ariza got pissed at Lakers for low-balling, and the same happened with Ron Artest and the Rockets, and they ended up switching teams via free agency.

    Max contract for...?

    Though obviously they'd take both.

They have to have something lined up right? If Woj is hinting at it, the Rockets must know they are getting someone. I'm all in on Bosh at this point. I think he allows Harden and Howard to do their things while adding great defense and a very good 3pt %.

I'm beginning to agree with Doc Rocket that the Rockets shouldn't be chasing dreams IF, and I emphasize IF the Rockets have a good deal lined up for Love. There has been no Woj report on Love, so it's possible Minnesota isn't even taking our offers seriously. But the worst scenario is passing up a Love trade on the table only to find Bosh and LeBron returning to the Heat.

Bosh WANTS to be in Miami and be LeBron's lackey. Just as hard to pry him away as it is to pry Melo away from being da man in NY.

Damn, you're quick, JR. Hopefully this will add to the wandering eyes from the big 3.

The only thing concerns me about bosh is he "doesn't band any more" in the post. And he doesn't want to according to the cbs article. If we only need some PF who can stretch the floor, why do we offer max to him? Ryan Anderson would do the job I suppose?
