Morey is focused on the star, we don't need a bench we will win it all this year, & will be wayyyyy better than the clippers

Damn, that's a very reasonable deal. Sucks to see an option off of the table, even if was a lower priority one.

Things are getting out of hand, the Melodrama needs to wrap up soon. FAs getting snatched up left and right.

Long shot, but perhaps teeing up a trade for Deandre to take a swing at Lebron?

The Clippers switch out Darren Collison for Spencer Hawes. Great move.

They did not have a legit backup C last year. On offense, Hawes will be very effective playing off the Blake/CP3 combo and they can sit Deandre Jordan when he's a liability.

I concur, great move. Clips deepening their bench and improving whole team incrementally, instead putting in all their chips for an all or nothing gamble.

Hawes almost had a quadruple double a season or two ago

Damn that sucks....he would have been a great option as a stretch 4 only behind guys like Ryan Anderson and KLove. I'm just pissed he went to the clippers of all teams, especially at such a low rate. Wish he would have stayed in the East.

This summer is slowly turning into a problem. Good-fit players are starting to get locked up.

Anytime you put all your eggs in one basket, or wait on 1 person.

I understand Morey likes Melo but sheesh, is it worth it when you're going on a whim?

There were very strong reports about Dwight leading up to last summer.

I preferred Lowry, higher probability of Melo burning us than coming here. Bosh isn't going anywhere.

At this point we need to focus on Love and Rondo.

For those complaining about this move. Had the Rockets made their big offseason move as "Rockets sign Spencer Hawes to $23mil", would you all be rejoicing?

I wouldn't have hated it, but yeah now is our last shot for awhile of getting a blockbuster.

Time to get going and sign some bench players that are needed. Melo is going back to NY and Lebron will be back in Miami. Morey needs to re focus.
