Don't think it works perfectly here as there are a lot of unknown factors that we do not know about it.
Okay, thanks. Not familiar with American/English business terms but figured it'd be something like that.
so lebron = no. feeling good about melo. love is a major target. bosh is a major target. and if we strike out on those... well all of the good role players who could've stocked out bench won't be available either.
Can someone elaborate this clue? I don't really get it. It sounds gibberish to me, I'm not getting it. Help?
It's no clue, he stated the opinion of involved people. No one really knows what's going on. Two people (one high up in the organization) are very confident that we'll get Melo. One says Love to Rockets is #1 priority. Bron won't come to Houston.

Same as B4: No LBJ, CA, KL...Love IS where we'll turn, but 2 late? RajRon? IDK but sounds right. Would prefer bench: Hawes,Deng, &...
— Doc Rocket (@Thedocrocket) July 3, 2014
At the end of the day, you have no control over what decisions a free agent makes. When you are doing a trade, you have some control over the process. A trade would be the easiest, simplest and fastest way to acquire a marque player. This would imply Kevin Love, who I am a huge fan of. Although a trade can also be painful in that you have to give up something valuable. I am guessing the Rockets are pursuing free agency because of what they would have to give up in order to consummate a trade for a marque player. If the Rockets strike out in free agency (Lowry, Love), they will turn their sites on Kevin Love. I am guessing that Doc's tweet partially implies whether or not Kevin Love would still be available if the Rockets spent time pursuing Kyle Lowry and Carmelo Anthony.
With this logic, why not set up the trade as a contingency? Have a Love deal ready to go as soon as Melo/LeBron spurn you.
If I am not mistaken, King Drew predicted Rondo to Houston last year. He is an insider, and gives useful information time to time.
