The formula we have isn't championship material, sad to say. Having Bosh would tremendously help up because now it gives Harden and Parsons more space to work with offensively. Also, his PnR defense is very good, which obviously would tremendously benefit our defense because that's an area we really struggled at. Just curious though, who are these 3-4 bench guys you would have over Bosh?
Bosh is a great clutch player, check the stats for last 3-1 minutes in the game. He has one of the best shooting % in the league in those moments. I think he is underused in Miami and would be a great fit.
They'd be better off keeping the 2 PF's they have and signing a backup C like Spencer Hawes, maybe throw some money at a defensive backup SF like Ariza I dunno. Maybe if Bosh would take 12 mil or so it wouldn't be THAT bad.
Good for you. :roll eyes: But, no really what's the point of stating you don't want him without backing it up as to why you don't want him?? CFs is delusional. If we miss out on Melo we should 100% go after Bosh...idealy he's your stretch 4, I know everyone wants Love but instead of trading necessary players/assests to obtain him...all we got to do is flip Lin and offer Bosh $ straight up since he's a FA. Hell at this point Bosh is more likely to come here then Love, but that just my 2 cents
I'd be ecstatic if we got Bosh. Highly underrated and solves the PF issue and can backup centre. I really don't know why everyone is down on bosh he is still great.
The Rockets offer is likely one that starts around $18+mil, which is about 4yr/$77mil. They can of course tack on an extra year later by giving him a 1 year extension, which will make it an equivalent of 5yr/$98mil. Or $8mil more than the 5yr/$90mil he's asking for in Miami, and was rejected for.

As one fellow poster said, Bosh is likely to remain with Miami so either way not likely to happen. He is an adequate 2nd option in a good system featuring bigs and a more than good 3rd option. All you can ask for. You don't like him, well if he can get you go to the Finals, he wins.
