    Rich Paul, the agent for James, invited three teams – Cleveland, Dallas and Phoenix – to the offices of his Klutch Sports headquarters to listen to pitches.

    The meetings took place on Wednesday and Thursday, sources told Yahoo Sports.

    Phoenix met on Wednesday and Cavaliers officials met on Thursday with Paul. Houston Rockets officials spoke with Paul by phone, but were not granted a meeting and have moved on with their pursuit of Carmelo Anthony, sources told Yahoo Sports.

    I just don't see why he would stay in New York. He opts out and explores his options only to stay. He knew the Knicks would offer him the max from the get go.
    I truly think he's coming here as it's the best basketball situation and he will get paid well.

    James doesn't want to play for the Rockets.

    FWIW I think this whole thing is a power play by James and he isn't going anywhere.

    I would agree. This is to add pressure to Riley, other than Cleveland. He's not playing in Dallas or Phoenix.

    They reportedly had $26 million in cap room.

    They're going to re-sign Dirk ($30 million over 3 years)

    So...$16 million in cap room?
