The same thing happened last year with Dwight. Everyone was so up and down. Let the process play out. Let's see where his head is at.

    Pau. Lol.

Meh, if he goes back to NYK then it isn't about winning. Their roster sucks.

Any of the other teams you could make a case for, but not the knicks.

Gasol will definitely help the Knicks compete. For the 5th seed.

I don't want to see Gasol on the Thunder. Would rather see dude stay a Laker or head East.

Remember last year: Dwight is going back to LA to tell them he will sign with them. He is 50/50 blah blah. I have the same feeling right now.

You don't have to worry about it, their owner is such a cheapskate he wouldn't pay the tax to keep Harden around, what makes anyone think he'd pay the tax for old man Gasol?

Its not like you have to do much tp be better than Indiana and the Bulls in the east. It really is an unfair advantage to be in the eastern conference.

My thoughts too. If Melo REALLY wants to try and persuade Pau to head to NY, then Melo's really not about winning a title. Pau Gasol 7 years ago? Sure. Now? They'll be lucky to be a 4 seed in the East.

Not really, all it leads to is more pointless basketball because you still have to get through the best of the West and honestly no team in the East has a chance at that right now.

he's already made up his mind way before the meetings just like Dwight Howard did.

I dont know about that. If i was in the east i would be content with going through a weak conference and being in the finals with an anything can happen mentality. Aaw it with miami last season.

If that is Chicago or New York then the focus would seem to shift to Love.

Fair enough, but if you keep going to the finals every year and losing you'll get a bad reputation for it and be shortening your career at the same time by playing a whole lot of extra basketball. No one wants to be the Buffalo Bills.

What's the latest? Melo was suppose to visit the Lakers today. Wonder if he will make a decision by tomorrow.

It's a face saving move, so he won't look like he's cashing in. No one is going to buy it, but whatever.

What if he wants to leave and is concerned about how he will be perceived in NYC. What if this is his way of saying I gave NYC a chance but it didn't just work. So now I will take my talents to...

Bunch of what ifs ... He liked what the bulls and rockets offered. I say it not over until the fat lady sings.
