I'm always leery of posters who claim to be insiders who come out of the woodwork at a sensitive time and tell you next to nothing. Who knows if he's telling you the truth, but there are no specifics. We all know something (good or bad) is going to happen in the next few days and he has nothing to lose. If something good happens, they get glorified. If nothing good happens, then you got trolled. Appreciate people who give good info on the board -- there are several. This looks like a can't-lose bet by the OP.
The big difference is that Melo is a proven clutch performer. The dude always steps it up when the stakes are high. We need that to offset Harden's occasional playoff disappearances.
Clearly you did not read the book "Moneyball", or understand how Billy Beane manages that team. They sell off big name players for a huge return of top prospects. Never acquiring them. DM, although a genius in his own right, is acquiring the big names. Usually at the expense of prospects.
So when a supposed insider/troll? says soon...how long does that mean we have to wait? does this question mean I am falling into the troll trap?
It's easy to get caught up in this stuff right now. I certainly have. It's fine being cryptic if you've been right in the past. This poster has zero credibility, and hasn't given us any unique information. Cyberx has proven himself, as has doc.
