    Yeah, at this point I would think the Lakers would hope that any potential FA would forget that Kobe even exists rather than remembering that they have a broken former star eating up all their cap space. It's funny that of the teams Melo visited 2 have broken former stars eating up their cap space and 1 is a team of over the hill former stars.

    no, Doc has made it clear HE doesnt want him here, there has been nothing substantive that agrees with him. You guys really need to learn to tell the difference between what Doc thinks is a scoop and his personal opinion. they arent always the same.

    ftr...Im with DR, I dont really think he is the end all be all answer, but if the Rockets think they can make it work Im fine with them tryin it out.

    Specially the way they're shoving Chicago as the only other viable destination down everyone's throat.

    imo, tons of people on CF were against the Dwight signing too and they were wrong haha. Dwight's been great. I think if you have a chance to get a superstar who is NOT past his prime, you just do it. Figure out details later. Even if they can't mesh well with our team, that is a much more valuable trade asset than cap space (esp. if re-signing Parsons will eat that "asset" up anyways).

    We need to think of alternatives here and the value of what we get rather than simply whether we like the player or not.
