    Having the max isn't the kicker to leaving NY. The kicker is not getting that final year. One or two million more a year isn't much of a difference when it comes to walking away from 30 million. I live in DFW and let me tell you that people here have their heads in the sand when it comes to how the rest of the league views the mavs. They think every free agent wants to come here.

    ESPN just reported that Kobe won't be attending the meeting today because Melo is going to meet with the Knicks right away. I think Kobe knows whats happening and doesn't want to waste his time.

    Calm down man. This isn't to insinuate that he's coming to Houston. Just that a deciosn from him has probably already been made whether its us or not.
