I guess he doesn't want everyone in NYC to hate his guts.

Thats why hes meeting the Knicks in LA. After he informs them hes not coming back, he wont have to face the NY fans until they've had a chance to cool off.

I have a feeling the Bulls are out... Much like Dwight last year, once you start hearing about specifics in the meetings it usually means they failed.

He'll come to Houston. It's just too easy if a decision. Occam's Razor

I'm sure dwight told him do what's best for him and his family. I mean I'm sure dwight mentioned how the laker fans reacted and treated him after he left at da end of the day it's about getting a ring.

Considering his age, that extra year is hard to reject. If he stays with NY, no way he will win a ring in next couple of years. But maybe PJ can turn things around. Who knows. They will have a lot of cap room when all the bad contracts expires.

Also, so the Zen master can say "all those trophies you saw at Staples.... the last one that I wasn't involved in was in 1988."

If Melo stays in NY I hope this dude never wins anything individually or collectively. There is no problems in staying a Knick if you take life style, sons and wifes preferences, as very important factors in the decision. What you don“t do is come out and say winning is the most important thing, and then consider NYK, LAL and Dallas as possibilities.

Chi is a joke when it comes to how overrated they are being portrait if they land Melo when it comes to ring chances, but at least in the terrible east conference they have a chance to make a surprise and they should be considered.

o_O, if Max $$ is key, definitely would rather stay in NYK instead of Dallas...If Max $$ is not the key and winning is, then Houston should be on the top of the list :p

Probably not, since Dirk hasn't signed his contract yet, they might have the max straight up/
