Lin is gonna go all Linsane and drop 50 on us in his Sixers uni. Scared. If Morey had any sense he would have retired Lin's number

You're incorrect about Lowry. He was traded for the 2013 1st rd Raptors' pick (Steven Adams) which was then used to feet Harden.

I think Jason Richardson is slated as the 2-guard for Philly right now, although he's 33 and coming off knee surgery. I'd play Lin at point and MCW at 2, and have JRich some off the bench.

    Yeah, it's time.

And I say that from the perspective of a fan of both the Rockets and Lin. I don't like to think of another season with Lin still in a Rockets uniform.

I don't see how the Rockets can keep Lin even if we strike out on Love/Melo/LeBron/etc. The Asik trade is pretty much done (it's not official but you can't tell me Morey is going to take that trade off of the table even if he strikes out on free agents this summer).

I'd be happy to take Thaddeus Young and the two years left on his contract to get rid of Lin.

I'd be wary of adding Lin in Philly. That's the kind of team that Lin will make a 6th-8th seed as the primary ball handler in the east. I'm not sure they are ready to be a middle of the road team yet, a couple more high lottery picks are needed.

They won't be a matter of concern to us, if we can get cap room for a Melo signing.

He will if Harden's guarding him.

I'm okay with that, he'll post 18 turnovers in doing that.

Agreed for sure, just saying that Hinkie is smart and may ask for too much for the salary dump knowing it could hurt the teams full rebuild. His mentor is Daryl "three first round picks for Asik" Morey, getting greedy was probably lesson one.

You lose your leverage when you MUST get rid of someone. The punk moves (photoshop and defending it afterwards) by Morey have all but lowered Lin's trade value.

He might, but don't worry, he'll probably have a crucial turnover late in the game that helps us win the game.
