it could be anybody not just Jeremy Lin.

I'd rather him say it what was on his mind than drop a proverb.

can you imagine if people acted like that on a regular basis?

BESIDE ALL THE ARGUING AND STUFF:

A any news on on the whole sixers and rockets trade talks? That's all I'm really looking for lol. Like how about instead talking about the Lin number scandal, how about we can talk about the possible trade of lin going to the sixers?

What do you guys think we can get for lin from sixers? :p

This is such a boneheaded PR mistake.

The difference between Lin's situation and Beverley-Dwight is that everybody knows that if Carmelo joins the team, Lin has to leave based on simple math. It's implied and everyone understands but nobody would explicitly say that out loud (although it looks like Morey did... bizarre). The Bev situation didn't necessitate that if Dwight joined the team, Bev had to leave.

The banner makes it way too obvious that the Rockets are shipping Lin out of town if Melo comes in. Nobody likes to be told that they are leftovers-- especially so publicly.

Total PR screwup. They're going to be forced to trade him away for a couple second round picks and be left with a depleted bench if Melo doesn't sign.

Yeah 17.34mil would be so bad. How will make a strong bench with 17.34mil ?

You mean if they don't trade Lin he's gonna pout on the bench? It's so ironic that the Lin fans, who are all about respect, treat him like a 13 year old, while the non-LOF's treat him as if he is a man.

That billboard really makes Lowry's decision easier.

He is a Raps now, not need to wait more several days.

There was a very small chance Lin was staying on the team anyway. Congratulations to Lin on his starting role in Philly. Hope he plays well.

Karma happens. If u have a Utilitarian as GM and build a team culture of Utilitarianism this **** will happen and dont blame the whole world questioning u. oh and if u got a Utilitarianism fans group on your biggest fansite dont question why outside world keep saying Houston got worst sports fans.
oh and grats to lose the shot on Lowry. even him mocking HOU on twitter.

LOL. Wah wah wah. Even if the Rox don't get a top free agent this off season, they will be better off without Lin, regardless who is the next man up at PG.

Complete non-issue blown up by passive-aggressive bullshi* and severely exacerbated by the media, Woj getting conflicting info and Morey uncharacteristically not choosing his words carefully.

So f***ing stupid from all sides

Well he doesn't sound like a Lin fan so he can't possibly be irrational.

I'm getting all sentimental. One last LOF v LOH thread before Lin is traded. Clutch, are you going to be ok after all the LOFs leave? Will your analytics be ok? LOFs probably weren't clicking through banners anyway.

its best for everyone involved, Lin gets a fresh start on a team that probably won't be in real contention for anything, he gets to play his brand of basketball and enjoy playings once again, having the media all over his D as he plays well in the Leastern conference

lofs/lohs/trolls etc get to piss off

lofs get to play with their JLin snuggies as he averages like 19/7

but the only thing of any actual importance is the rockets will likely use the capspace to sign a big name or maneuvre for other pieces

yep Lin was noted for being a right little **** during his younger days anyway, not a knock on him but nobody is perfect, including those that think they're above someone because they follow a book written thousands of years ago to be sure you're not meant to murder/steal stuff

lets not forget that Lin when he gets to do his **** is an effective basketball player, problem is he just isn't good enough to win a chip, he needs to seriously develop a more all-rounded game or find a coach/system that is willing to lend him more control
