Maybe this ends up with Melo taking Bosh's place in Miami as long as Houston can get both Bosh and Lowry that's fine with me.

    Lowry/Bev
    Harden/Daniels
    Parsons
    Bosh/Jones
    Howard/Dmo

Ever since Bosh joined Miami he has turned into a huge softie.

You find who your real friends are Bosh when money is on the line...If Wade cares for Bosh as much as he does Lebron, Wade should be the one that takes a huge pay cut. That being said, Bosh has already banked with Toronto...so really does he really need/worth 15 mil?

This line up would be nice...and would immediately address two significant needs for our team...PG play and PF production.

Opportunity knocks... let's see if we can throw more than an iPad at it this time. I am thinking we go Android this time. :p

On a serious note, I agree that Bosh would shore us up more than Melo would. I think he's taken a back seat in Miami, so #1) he's capable of much more than the stats show, and #2) he is able to play off ball and let other players dominate. He'd be an immediate defensive upgrade and would bolster an already extremely powerful offense.

Pull the trigger on that if it is available, I say.

that's the thing, he should not have taken a back seat in rebounding. Averaging under 7 boards a game for two years straight is not what a near max pf should be averaging Like I said, Jones averaged more and was already playing along side Dwight. Not to mention he should have been playing 2nd fiddle to LeBron with wade missing more time and his decline in play.

Remember Morey told Bosh that if he went to Miami, they wouldn't have enough money to build a contender?

Well the Big 3 had a 4-year contract window. They went to the Finals 4 times and won twice. Now their salaries have gone up and two of the three's basketball value has gone down. I really doubt that they can still field a good supporting cast around them. Morey's prediction was 4 years too early.

Didn't they all agree to the next contract before they opted out? If not...why'd they opt out. Should have taken the 2 for 40.

Dude LBJ has said he won't sign for less than the max, especially outside of miami. We can't give him the max. He's not coming here. You think he would be happy getting paid less than dwight?

This offseason sucks for the Rox. Law of averages I suppose.

If I'm Miami - no way I offer $18. In fact, I just let him walk and plug holes with other players. If I'm another team, maybe the Rockets or Suns, depending on how things shake out - I absolutely consider paying him $18.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Bosh end up in Houston. I wouldn't be thrilled about it, but it would be interesting I guess. Lebron and Wade probably want Bosh to leave.

lebron probably isn't too thrilled with either right now after both disappeared in the finals.

if miami is trying to negotiate lower than 15M the rockets should swoop in with 18. would an extra 3M/yr be enough to leave? maybe not. would it be the highest offer he gets? probably not. wouldn't chicago, LA, phoenix, dallas (his hometown) go for the max at 20M? probably. then if its between 20M elsewhere or <15 with the heat, who knows.

would the rockets be willing to offer that kind of contract to bosh? probably.

I fine with Bosh in Houston but we have to teach him how to drink championship champagne without looking like a fluffer.

we are talking about the best player on the planet, if bron wants to come to houston, morey will clear enough room and offer him the max

15 mil seems like a steal. Riley sucks.

Wade should be the one too offer a Tim Duncan type discount
