Woj says Chicago is still the leader if Melo believes in Rose's health, but says Houston thinks they're really in it.

Woj on FS1; Rockets think they are in it. Sold Melo on the chance to play with 2 healthy superstars

Woj: Melo main concern w/ Chicago is Rose's healthy vs playing with 2 healthy superstars in Houston; will have to take less money on Chi or Hou

that was pretty much it re: melo

Woj on foxsports1: rockets feel they have a good shot at landing melo. Houston is best place to play with two healthy stars in their prime. Melos biggest concern is will rose be able to stay on the court.

Chicago considered to be Melos first choice is he decides to leave ny.

Well it's based on a pretty outlandish scenario, if Melo buys in to Rose being healthy, and given that it would change everything. Of course that's a lot like selling Melo on Yao Ming's health

Pay attention to what he said.

He said IF Anthony believes in Rose's health THEN Chicago is front runner.

No one knows what he thinks of Roses health chances, that is a very real risk.

Not a whole lot of new info from Woj.

Lowry - Felt comfortable in Toronto.

Melo - Rocket's feel they are in it. Offer two healthy stars. Rose's health a concern. Still thinks Chicago is the leader.

Gasol - Will have to wait for the other stars to decide what their doing. Will have to take a pay cut to play on a contender. Thinks he's done in LA.

Believe me. Derrick Rose wouldn't have held a private workout if he wasn't nudged to do so. Obviously Melo has his concerns.

If Rose isn't Rose next year, AND they have to trade Dunleavey and Amnesty Boozer(2 of their best offensive players besides Rose), they are going to rely on Melo for about 99.9% of their offense which will take a toll on him, and gain him even more criticism for being a ball hog.

Melo's confidence is Rose's health & durability SHOULD BE a huge deal.

I know. What I'm saying is ESPN could tout a similar thing and folks would go nuts.

I still believe Alex Kennedy pulled this out of his ass. Everyone that has brought it up has referred to his report. He's the source. That usually means pure BS.
