So, if Morey strikes out on LeBron/Bosh (likely), Melo, and Lowry(already chose to resign with TOR)-

    LeBron is a long shot, as is Bosh, who has said he intends on resigning. Lowry, unfortunately, resigned with the Raptors. So, we are all waiting on Melo - who is also somewhat of a long shot, although not too far fetched.

    So what happens next if Morey misses out on all of his top free agents - who'd be the next target? Try to get Love via sign/trade with Parsons?

    I think Lin will be moved regardless if Morey lands Melo or not - due to the media blowing up this whole jersey fiascal.Anyways, after trading Lin, the Rockes would have somewhere around 18 million in capspace - who are some realistic, SOLID, free agents that Morey may obtain?

    Our next target would definitely be Love (improbable) and after that Rondo I'm assuming (slightly more probable). We still have a lot of avenues to improve the team even if we miss out on everyone (probable).

    Listen to Clutch's interview from earlier on 610. Looking at trades will be next up.

    The Rockets have two major things they can do-

    A. they can still rework the Asik trade to involve a 3rd team or
    B. they can quickly parlay that pick in a separate deal. Maybe not into Love, but if you combine that with some other Rockets assets, it seems highly likely that they can get something of value back right now. Especially with so many teams trying to dump salary.

    Oh... and Kevin Love is still a real possibility and he becomes even more of a possibility if Melo goes to Chicago, Lebron & co. stay in Miami, and (the big kicker) if GS is really not willing to give up Klay Thompson (which I think they will do after the dominoes fall and they give in).
