Do you think Chicago trading Taj Gibson makes Melo more interested in going there? No way. He wants to get paid without them gutting the team because he wants to win too. I think Chicago is in a really tough situation.

No one would rather live in the woodlands, especially a young nba superstar

    Pearland and Sugar Land.

I know some Texans players live out in Pearland, and Dwight I believe lives out in Richmond which is close to Sugar Land in fort bend county (which is the richest county in Texas I think).

The nicer part of the Woodlands is incredible. Young NBA superstar, of course not, but the older guys who are family oriented.

I've been away from Houston for a few years, so I'm kind of out of the loop with this stuff now. Regardless, I just find the idea of Melo walking out the door in his River Oaks home kind of hilarious. Can't really picture that.

Yeah if I had to guess he would probably want something like what Dwight has right now.

since lala likes new york so maybe they like apartment/condo living. Maybe he wants to live in Kirby area. I mean they don't have a kid and lala is concentrating on her career so don't think they are expecting one anytime soon.

Lots of players have lived in Sugarland area. Hakeem lived in the vicinity of First Colony if I recall correctly. Mario Elie and Charles Barkley lived in Point Royal in New Territory I think. I don't know if Ft. Bend is the richest county. I thought that distinction belonged to parts of Katy and the Woodlands area.

Woodlands pushing out towards Conroe is dope! Giant mansions on the lake.

I don't know how anyone wouldn't love that kind of stuff.

Melo to Miami guys. Don't get your hopes up, when its said and done, he'll be with the Heat.

Hopefully we can get Lowry and Love.

I agree- no way. That makes it less attractive for him.

But if his mind is made up to play in Chicago, they would make the money work to get him. Even if their starting offer was low.

my bad, but if it's 7 y/o, they can still get a high rise. instead of some house in woodlands, sugarland, etc

I run a company that is always doing work for athletes homes.

From what I have seen, athletes usually live in one of three places in Houston

Sugarland, Katy and West U- (well occasionally Pearland)

Not saying you wont have an occasional star divert off those areas such as a steve francis(well when he first got here) or Roger Clemens but for the most part those 3 areas seem to be where they station themselves. Katy is more for the retired players such as a moochie norris, robert horry, mo taylor ect..

It seems the long lasting stars will live in sugarland, the new additions usually move to west u and the retirees go to katy oddly enough

    Such confidence.

Would you like to voice your reason for that?
