This post is so wrong in a thread about "fluid trade".

How awkward would it be if Melo doesn't sign here after Woj's tweets?

Well. A disrespect is a disrespect, no matter how you put it.

I hear the fluid trade talks broke down when Morey demanded a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and Hinkle countered with the proverbial bucket of warm piss.

Lin was never...... evvvvvvvveeeer going to play for us again *In my Chris Jericho voice *

Lin should have known at the beginning of his contract that unless he turned into an All Star we were never going to keep him during his third year.

I admit it was insensitive for the Rockets to put Lin's number on Carmelo's jersey. They did that because Carmelo's number is 7 as well. I don't think they meant to disrespect Lin.

Insensitive is the word, disrespect? Not even.

What would be disrespectful is putting another number on melo because lin, who is a lesser player is wearing it. Not a good pitch changing his number.

If the Rockets end up winning it all you know Hinkie will get a ring from the organization.

Sixers are going to try to make Clint Capela a small forward.

LOFs need to get a clue. They didn't disrespect Lin. He's completely irrelevant to this team. How dense are you? The only team that wants him, is the team that needs to put together a roster that will lose as many games as possible. LOLin.

I think Rosas joined the Mavs and Hinkie joined the SIxers only to sabotage other teams/spy and get intel on their front offices. Hinkie will return soon  or better yet he'll stay and continue to help us out as a trading buddy!

too many people let their disdain for lofs warp how they view Lin, no need to pile on him more because posters think JLfan#1 is a dumbass.

whats the point anymore? I spend more time in the boxing thread and hangout.

From what I've established in my conversations, its perfectly fine to piss on Lin because its only natural to hate someone when his fans (who he has no control over) say stupid stuff.

Now that is the most ****ed up thing in the world. Nobody hates Rocketfan_Dave because his Auntie is Spursfan_Linda. r****ded.

This is coming from someone who's wanted Lin gone for a while and thinks he's a pretty mediocre basketball player.

If all else fails in our pursuit of big names in free agency I would be fine with a trade of Lin to Philly for Thaddeus Young if somehow the deal could be done. Then possibly get Spencer Hawes and match any offer sheet for Parsons and that's a nice upgrade from last year.

Toronto can pay him the most. Lowry isn't worth the max, but he would a solid addition to the Rockets. I think he will eventually re-sign with the Raptors. I think the Rockets will be making a mistake, if they go after Rondo.
