Hope if we trade him we get a solid bench player in free agency with melo because I don't trust canaan as a backup

So sensitive. He should have called a timeout, probably, but it was mostly a good defensive play to get the steal.

Well, I think the list is longer than that. There are other secondary targets like Deng or Lowry or whomever we might also want to drop Lin for. This is the last opportunity to use cap space for the next few years assuming we re-sign Parsons, so I expect Morey will continue to be aggressive about it while the window is open even if we don't get our top choice.

Anything is better than the famed turnover chef Jeremy Lin.

    What fantastic news!!

Asik is going to Pelicans, Parsons possibly getting traded for Kevin Love and Lin to Philly, There won't be any reason for me to follow this team anymore.

Isn't this a great win-win for everyone (Rockets fans included since they seem to be happy about a team being built with many chemistry issues)?

Thanks for posting. All the thread authoritarians complaining can beat it. Some of us just want to read thread titles looking for info. We don't want to click on six different threads and then jump back to page 56 to see if there might be something interesting.

No one cares when annoying people leave.

That's probably why Lin is tweeting these messages. Morey probably isn't telling Lin like it is straight up and giving Lin false hope in order to hedge his bets.

if he goes to philly, the sixers will sell out all their home games. large contingent of lin fans in the Philly/NJ area. even NYers would make the 2 hour trip to see him every now and then. win win for everyone. make it happen Morey, regardless of what happens with Melo.

if Lin blows up in Philly, does Les fire Morey/McHale? if memory serves me right, Les wasn't too happy with Morey during Linsanity.

it's basically a 1 year rental for philly, and they would probably ask for a 1st rd pick. maybe they can showcase lin for the first half of the season and flip him later to a contending team who needs a pg for more assets. lin could get a bunch of stats with that team and raise his value aka evan turner

    Harden.
The hate will eclipse the Lin hate because Harden's expectations are way higher.
