So the media said from the beginning NY or Chicago and it was dismissed; "Media hates Houston! ESPN/Media got to keep their market in the news!" "They dismiss us like they always do; like they did with Dwight!"

But only now after meeting with two teams, based on how long the visit is/was, some of you are convinced he's headed elsewhere.

    EL OH EL.

I honestly won't be that upset if Melo doesn't come here, but it just doesn't make any sense that he would go anywhere else. NY isn't going anywhere because of their 0 draft picks and Amare's huge contract, Chicago's entire future rests on Rose's busted knees (and even if he were to make a miraculous comeback Harden + Dwight >>> Rose + Noah), Dallas would have been an attractive destination a few years ago but Dirk is 36 years old and he has at the ABSOLUTE most 4 years left, Houston is the only place that makes any sense at all.

I actually hope Melo goes to the Bulls and then realize DRose is another Amare and Bulls owner is too cheap to acquire additional help.

Well, I mean if they were photoshopping, they could have just taken off the number altogether. Overblown though...probably.

Could be wrong, but I do not believe the hard cap applies to minimum salaried players. Thus, the rockets could sign as many of those as they like throughout the season.

Well to be fair, ESPN didn't even want to report that Dwight was interested in us even when there were reports that he had signed! (See: Chris Broussard 50/50 reports).

Edit: Nevermind. They were just going to lunch. LOL at all of this. We're fans though, it's fun to speculate.
