If Lin gets traded to the Sixers, they should cut to an interview with MCW

Dont be so sure, he could start at 2 guard with MCW. Not to mention Im not even sure how high Philly is on MCW since they are already trying to trade him. Sixers are one of just a few teams Lin could be capable of putting up big numbers.

What would be best is that all the LOFs and LOHs would disappear!!

So they'd be sending Lin to the Rockets' D league affiliates and clearing cap in the process? Awesome.

Damn, Morey must have given Hinkie one hell of a recommendation for him to be doing us these kinds of favors.

as is stated before Lin only tweets the verses when it BBALL related, he codes them like DOC

-he felt like that it was a slap in the face having melo wear his number on the marketing stuff. He knows he's getting traded but didn't think they would do that. He's easily the guy with the most CLASS on the team, whether you like him or not we know that

I am by no means a Lin fan, but, I really can't imagine a better situation for him than Philly.

He and MCW fit really well together (with Lin playing the 1 on defense and the 2 2 on offense, and MCW doing the reverse), and Lin would be able to have a lot larger role in the offense on a bad Sixers team than he was able to in Houston.

I like Lin, its just too bad his talents didn't measure up to the amount of class he has.
I would have still liked him on the team for about $3-4 mil but that's sadly not possible.

Sort of... usually incoming superstars bribe players for their jersey numbers. PBev, being the cool cat he is (or financially stupid cat), offered his up for free. I remember Dream not giving up his 34 to Barkley. I am not sure if Barkley ever asked though.

Opposite of that, it's about to be the second time the Rockets severed their ties with him, and it is the second time he was pushed out in order for an organization to gain favor with Melo. He'd be more than willing to have it happen a third time in the future, because he's just thankful to be an nba player and be in a position where he's making the kind of salary to matter in these discussions.

he knows he leaving this summer and was really happy about it talked about chance to play for Knicks and other teams on interviews, on a video stream last night he said he thought he was going to warriors but they just signed a big friend of mines Livingston and spoke on how good he is.

It was just he wasn't expecting rockets to do that with his number, & all the media including ESPN tweeted about melo in Lin jersey and still on the roster ETC.

    - pay yeah $3-4 mill would be great, but if he goes to Philly or somewhere else and does any better than he did here he's looking at another $8mill+ given that Bradley just got $8 & Meeks just got $6, Isaiah Thomas about to get $8mill, Lin has turnover problems & pore deceison making, but other teams can live with that Due to the fact he plays average D, get to the FT line often, playmakers, improving 3, midrange, & finishes at the rim well. It's just his $15mill contract and doing a favor for MOREY teams staying away from right now.

Some of those who have money & have no problems making more money tend to focus more on reputation & respect.

He wouldn't just be okay on a different team, he'd be okay if he weren't in the NBA, period.
He's a very humble & spiritual person, so since the money is not an issue, people treating him as if they love & care about him, then those same people want to get rid of you, for him, that's a tough pill to swallow.

If you loved your wife & she "loves you back" and then divorces you out of the blue.. even if you had 3 girlfriends on the side willing to take on your "contract" you'd still be hurt.

I'm glad he's being traded because it means receiving a better player in return, but no one should discount how he feels because he has money.

That's dumb. And let's not forget about his millions of upset fans who were waiting for him to respond, who also don't care about his money.

His tweets could be a lot worse like a couple of former Rocket players that come to mind.
