If we had Lowry, Harden, Parsons, Melo, and Dwight that would at least add up to a big 4.5

Does anyone know the source of this image? Want to make sure I credit it.

I see BASKETBALLHOLIC showed up for the Anthony festivities...

I hear he just kept screaming "WE ARE NOT TRADING CHANDLER PARSONS!" over and over again at Carmelo as he entered the Toyota Center.

    May be this.

Also I'm pretty sure this is why Lowry is waiting to make a decision. He wants to see what Houston can get done. Who wouldn't want to run the point on a team like that?

No way to be able to do that, right?

Read Bima's twitter. Sounds like it is very possible, as long as Les is willing to pay the luxury tax

Big 5, lol. At that point don't you just call it the Big Team or something?

I tried asking him but I don't think the twitter sphere allows enough characters to truly answer the question. He usually responds.

Don't think that's the original source -- he posted that 25 minutes ago and it was on the board an hour and a half ago.

If there is one thing I have learned over the last few years, it's if Bima says it is so you can put money on it.

I doubt it works out like he puts it, but boy howdy if it were to come true.

If we trade Lin + D-Mo + Casspi + Powell + Covington + picks to the knicks, we can offer Melo nearly 19M/year and still be able to sign Lowry outright.

I just cannot see it happening.....

    Howard/Anthony/Parsons/Harden/Lowry

Move Beverley to the bench and still have the MLE and LLE.

Everyone should take a moment and read BimaThug's twitter timeline.

    https://twitter.com/BimaThug

In today's meeting, @dmorey may sell Melo on possible super-team w/a "Big Five" - him, Dwight, Harden, Parsons & another big-time player.
— David Weiner (@BimaThug) July 2, 2014

Depending on if Melo, Rockets can convince NYK to do S&T, HOU may be able to make another BIG move in next several days.
— David Weiner (@BimaThug) July 2, 2014

That's right. If Melo takes small paycut, Rockets don't even have to include Lin in Melo S&T. I think the guy posting the pictures must work in the Organization. Or knows someone who does. He had access prior to them being anywhere else, probably best to not advertise these images because it's possible that they could get someone in trouble.

The big 5 is barely plausible. The Rockets would need to split ~$38 million between Parsons, Lowry and Melo to stay below the apron.
