    What's been corroborated is that Rose worked out at the UC yesterday in the morning. The only one saying it was a private workout for Melo is Kennedy.

    The original source that said Rose showed up called it his scheduled workout. One of our posters here said the timelines don't really line up for it to have been a private workout.

    Who knows though.

    Fold Asik into a three team sign and trade for Melo using Jones and non-guaranteed contracts. S&T Lin w/assets to Toronto for Lowry. Re-sign Parsons.

    Pretty sure it would be impossible to stay below the apron though so it can't happen.

    Yeah I don't see it. You'd be at $65 million or so just for four players. If you throw Parsons in you are around $75 million. It would be REALLY tough to do that.

    Perhaps they just played tape from that morning of him going through drills? The reports I saw were that Rose arrived and left like 15 minutes later. Can't imagine much of a workout, plus meet and greet, etc., in 15 minutes.

    I think we find out how the meeting really went by the end of tonight.

    I would assume the Rockets will switch to plan B rather quickly.

    Well the SNT without Lin is an even easier sale.

    They can either lose melo for nothing cause we CAN sign melo out right

    If snt they can receive assets in picks which they need plus get a huge tpe which they can use to make big moves next year with that plus enormous cap space
