The Chicago story is kind of funny. It's like a Sultan getting proof that the slave he is buying is a virgin before he rapes her.

 

When Alex Kennedy is the only source, it's false.

 

Can't even wrap my head around how this would be possible.

You would have to trade Lin to Philly for nothing. New York would have to sign and trade Melo to Houston for cap space which I don't even know what salary he could get or how SnT's work to teams below the cap but not enough for full max salary. And then I guess have Toronto SnT Lowry to us for like every asset we have on the books to make the salaries match, all while staying under the luxury tax.
