    Michael Feliz @ Beloit: 7 IP, 4 H, unearned run, BB, 7 K

Quad Cities won 3-1 as Brian Holberton (6) and Brett Phillips hit solo homers

He's the one highly touted pitching prospect in the system pitching well and getting better over the course of the season. In most other systems, he'd be the best or 2nd best pitching prospect.

Glad to see him doing well in full season ball after that awesome year in Tri Cities last year. He has the beast that is Lancaster ahead to look forward to.

Walks, walks, walks... That has been the only thing that has kept Feliz from dominance this year.

That's one of the things that has markedly improved as the year advanced. He had an 18.3% BB rate in April (11 in 12.2ip) that has since dropped down to 6.5% (11 in 41.1ip) starting in May.

For his 41.1ip since the beginning of May he's been dominant.

Wow! His K%-BB% is greater than most pitchers K% in that time frame

With Springer, Singleton, and Santana (for now) in the big leagues, Correa out for the year, and a small gap in talent in AAA now, I feel like a new poster boy for offense needs to be found for my own interest and following purposes. Is Teoscar the guy?

Well written TCB article on Hernandez article

Really hoping to see this guy keep it up when he gets to CC. He seems to have a lot of what you would want out of a center fielder. I know he has been followed on this board, but is he now worth considering as one of the best (top 2/3) offensive prospects in the system?

AJ Reed is the next poster boy if he would just start hitting at Tri City

Ruiz, Reed, and Tucker (and Fisher once he starts to play) are the top bats I follow.

I also follow Torreyes. He's a glove instead of a bat though. He doesn't strike out or hit for power. He's almost the youngest player currently in AAA, but he is blocked by Altuve.

Reed for sure, but like you mentioned, he still needs time. Teoscar has already shown he can handle A+ and having a toolsy CF is so great. Don't get me wrong, a guy like Reed/Davis will be exciting to follow, but their track record is too brief for me to make them my front runner IMO.

I don't know if "forget" is the right word, but I the River is a guy that I rarely check up on for some reason. Solid point.

I worry Teoscar will have a 32% K rate in AA and won't have a Springer-type offensive level output to compensate for this level of K's once he isn't playing in the California League.

How about Tony Kemp? The guy is still doing his thing since being promoted to AA.

He was in a big slump, but has been trending the right direction the last couple of weeks.
