Are we really the only team with a meeting scheduled with his agent. I didn't even know we had one. Any source? (Not that I don't believe you)

Crunching the numbers... realistically, we can offer a 4 year deal to Kyle for $47.4MM. Year 1 would start at $11MM and then with the max 5% cap raises will get his cap numbers to $11.55MM in year 2, $12.13MM in year 3, and $12.74MM in year 4. We then could sign Kyle outright and have Lin and the rest of the assets as ammo for either Love or Melo.

I like Lowry's but i dont think signing him for 11 or 12 mil per year is the best use of our capspace.

There are so many good pg's out there and Morey has been great at scouting and finding under appreciated pg's on the cheap: Brooks, Lowry, Dragic, Beverly.

I'd rather keep all our guys and solidify our bench and hold out for a better option, PF preferably.

Has anyone done the math on what $12 million translates to with Texas taxes?

Woj on Fox Sports Live saying Toronto's message is that if he goes to Miami or Houston, he's just a guy. In Toronto he is 'the man' and he got them to the playoffs. When pressed, he said he thinks Lowry stays in Toronto, but added that Houston has made a compelling case to him.

    Well, that's easy:

"Do you think Chris Bosh wish he stayed in Toronto?"

    The end.

If I was Lowry, I'd say "If you really think I'm 'The Man', then pay me like one and find a way to get me the max."

I cant get my head around Moreys plan. If Lowry signs, we trade Lin, then sign Melo, aren't we kissing Parsons goodbye? If we sign Lowry, lose out on Melo, trade Lin, somehow trade for Love while keeping Parson i would build my own statue for Daryl. I can see Lowry agreeing to sign with us only if we are able to get Melo. He could really be mulling the offers between Toronto and the Rockets but IDK. I'm actually confusing myself. Ignore this post.

    Lowry/Bev for 48 minutes?

Last summer we were all pondering Howard and Asik for 48 minutes but, i think Lowry/Bev for 48 minutes will be more devastating vs. WB/Paul/Curry/Lillard/Parker
