yeah minus the fact that they would be a very very good team in the weak east and have an easier route to the finals in the east then ya you are right

Freaking Windhorst. They talked about Melo's visit to Chicago and then he was asked what Houston/Dallas/LA has to do to appeal to him. Windhorst responds by saying it all comes down to money and family life in NY or a better team in Chicago. Completely ignored the question. What a tool.

Why is ESPN showing him off as their featured insider? God, they have such weak NBA coverage.

Lol well why is Melo even visiting Houston, Dallas and L.A.? Some of these reporters are ridiculous...

Yeah, they'd have a halfway decent chance to get the privilege of being beaten by whoever happens to make it out of the West. He'd have tons of fun getting to hear how they'd have a serious chance "just as soon as Rose is healthy" every single year.

An injury prone star who hasn't played ball in 2 years, a top flight center and a few decent pieces. Yeah sounds like the Knicks.

I'm not talking about the order. The fact that he is spending a leisurely day in CHI -- a full day/evening/into the night -- says a lot to me. I'm personally not invested in the idea of having him here, so I don't care much one way or the other tbh.

I am, however, cringing at the idea of a life-size cutout of him holding the O'Brien trophy.

I think we are going to strike out bad this time but I do trust morey but it ain't looking good. Melo going to CHI or NY Lowry might commit to Toronto tonight and the only other player we reached out to was jordan hill really smh. I don't care what anybody says hill does absolutely nothing for us he brings nothing to the team.

He met with Bulls at 1pm and by 4:30 pm was done, he is just having dinner with them now. Ultimately what he chooses to do will have little to do with his visits.

If his goal is to win a championship, Houston is his best option.

I feel what QT is saying...it is the whole day, but hey...it is what it is. We have the better team and if he can't see that joining the Rockets is the right choice when we can deliver Dwight, harden, Parson Bev and him isn't enough, then F it lol. Houston is the better team and city. Chicago smells like cub musk. lol

Gotta wonder if Rose having to be dragged into a meeting he by all accounts had no interest in attending and then skipping dinner turns Melo off a bit.
