    As expected 2-0. The usa had a nice run this tournament (except for this game).

    Funny that Costa Rica. Has advanced the furthest.

    Conversely if Lukaku has been in from the beginning, Belgium might have been up 5-0. He is a true striker which Belgium sorely needed in the first 90 minutes. They wasted so many chances.

    Good game, legendary performance by Howard. Lots of hope for the future IMO.

    Can't hate belgium either. They played clean, no cheap shots, no flopping.

    not sure I'd say "as expected" when it went to extra time

    I'd applaud the US for taking it that far. Clearly Belgium is a much better team

    It is not the loss to Belgium that is disappointing. It is the way the U.S. played: someone's punching bag. The shots on goal disparity is disturbing if you think American soccer has progressed. I thought they would have played better.
