Read Dobro's post above (uh, and at the bottom of the next page!). This "news" is really meaningless, in my opinion.
Yeah, I'm taking everything with a grain of salt here, especially from Mr. 50/50. Very anxious about the next few days though, we should know something by the weekend.

I'm thinking its real positive that Lowry is talking with his agent before even scheduling meetings with the Heat/Lakers
Never BELIEVE Chris Broussard...Never. he has no IDEA what he's talking about. If Lowry wants the Rockets, then we don't technically need Toronto. Once the realize that Lowry is leaving, they will play ball with whatever team he chooses
Man, I hope so. I'm always on tenterhooks this time of year, waiting to see what's going to happen. I've never understood why some members don't view this as one of the most exciting times to be a fan. It's hard not to be a nervous wreck! Thank goodness, I can handle it, somehow. ;-)-

Exactly!!!! How does Broussard have a job??? Why do ESPN write him checks for this? I can do that!! I can easily guess WTF might happen and tweet it as facts. Example... Lebron will more than likely **** twice on July 4th weekend my sources say. Stay tuned! Boom! Pay me
BUT WAIT! Now my sources are saying that LeBron is rethinking the two-sh** July 4th weekend. He is now mulling over the possibility of eating a few extra hot dogs with even more sauerkraut. And, as we all know, sauerkraut makes you crap like an elephant. Now, I'm just repeating what my sources are telling me, it could be a three- or even a four-s*** weekend.
I don't really understand why Houston would want a S&T for Lowry? What pieces would we have to offer? Lin and draft picks? I'm assuming that if we were trying for a S&T for Lowry, that would mean that we were targeting another player as well?
I'm assuming if Lowry deal was to get wrapped up than that would pretty much rule out Carmelo. I dont see them being able to bring in both players. However, I think even if Lowry was ready to agree to terms today, they'd still hold off to have meeting with Melo first. I assume Lowry has probably been planning all along on having to wait for Melo & Lebron to lock up elsewhere first before he gets a final offer. The only way I see this happening is a (Basketballhollic-like) crazy S&T that is a modulation from the Asik trade. This would be extremely difficult to pull off IMO.
I can understand why the Rockets would want to get Lowry through a S&T. What I don't understand is why they'd ever think the Raptors would agree to that.
