Ha. Rose says he don't recruit. The owner says "yes you do".

"Melo's intent is to listen with sincere interest in Bulls strategy to clear enough space to pay him market value without gutting team."

that was a bit overblown - Rose said he wasn't going to go out of his way to recruit - the way Parsons did last season with Dwight.

That didn't mean that he would sit down and talk to Melo when he comes to the city and speaks with the team. If Melo wants to talk - Rose is willing to talk but Rose basically meant he isnt going to go out of his way to recruit.

Dwight said the same so did Harden - and both of them are going to be with the Rockets front office tomorrow when Melo comes to Houston

If melo stays in NYC they truly deserve each other. Phil Jackson doesn't have the balls to rebuild even as a GM.

Makes sense it's common sense. Thanks because this had to be said.

Makes you wonder what things CP had to do what he did to go out of his way...

Parsons wanted fame. After Howard signed, Parsons gave 100 interviews talking how he pursued Howard. It was a little annoying. Without Harden we would be in the lottery because DH would have made a different decision as he did the previous summer.

If Chicago thinks Melo will sign for a salary starting at $14-15mil, they're kidding themselves. NY can offer, and seemingly will offer, $22mil. The Rockets will likely offer $18-19mil starting salary and no state income tax.

The Rockets offer, money wise, can at least be competitive with NY's offer. Chicago's offer is a joke. Gordon Heyward likely will get that kind of money.

outside of Dwight saying CP calling every day to answer and talk to Dwight - who knows? I mean CP did make a switch to Dwight's agent - that may have helped CP more than Dwight though, but who knows maybe it was also something to show the lengths CP was willing to go through to play with Dwight.

But it is 'different strokes for different folks' -- Maybe Dwight needed that sort of 'recruitment' to appease his own ego. Melo may not need that sort of style - but it seems everyone is saying that Melo wants his space (maybe he put that out there himself to players) -- Maybe because more so than before with other free agents - Melo's wife has a huge role in it?

Doesn't matter. Only way he leaves in my mind is if it is to the Timberwolves.

The Bulls for $16M, the rockets for $18-19 (if it is true), then I think Melo will come to Houston if he decides to be out of NY.

Did Dwight tell her that while he was on his way to re-sign with the Lakers after committing to the Rockets?

Let's be real... can the bulls even beat the Heat? Let alone the Pacers?

Answer is no... the bulls even with melo will not make it to the NBA Finals.. not happening.

Dwight/Harden/Melo can make it to at least 1.
