    Beauty mark= Chandler.

Some players may want Chandler back in ketchup in mustard (Dwight, Harden) while the front office wants to maximize his value and maybe bring Kevin Love?

Harden has already said all we need is a few minor moves, but who knows what he really wants.

I'm glad to see a codman appearance, even if it only makes me scratch my head.

I'm not entirely sure why Melo would be Plan A and Love Plan B, if that's the situation.

Except, Golden State could relent on withholding Klay Thompson and wind up with Kevin Love, and if we don't chase every opportunity, we're in a bind.

And/or we don't want to lose Parsons, who might have to be traded in order to get Kevin Love? (Maybe?)

Plan C, which codman advocates, sounds like Lowry + ? Which might be what is needed. If we got Love, great, wonderful. If not, Lowry +, say, Taj Gibson (to fit into one of the TE's we'll generate, in exchange for a lesser-paid PF, to help Chicago get Melo if we don't land him) + a Draymond Greene type would actually be a BIG leap forward.

But I hope ya'll can make sense of the cod. 'Cause I can't. :)

I wonder how much fun these insiders have watching members of clutchfans scurry like little rats to decipher their "codes."

Talking in code is definitely way to do it though. You never look stupid. The guy in the draft thread who said over and over that the Rockets were "zeroing in Early" and that his "sources have said all day the Rockets will take Early if he's there!" looked like a fool when they didn't draft him.

    MH = Mike Harris

Mike Harris has been picked up by the Rockets like 74 times. So Melo will be signing with the Rockets

    soMewHere soon = Mellow Here

It could be MH for the Heat, but I don't think so.

THE ROCKETS ARE INTERESTED IN LOWRY? SEE INSIDER RIGHT!

Yes, the way to do it is to be so vague and make references to every possible target.... Carmelo (check), Love (check), Lowry (check).... I am sure soon someone will mention Lance Stephenson.....

The Rockets "think tank" is very tight and really controls what information gets out and does not get out.

As long as they keep their obvious nonsense confined to one thread, it's not so irritating.

Carmelo Anthony is meeting with Chicago today.

The Bulls are expected to offer Anthony a contract starting at $16,000,000. To do that, the Bulls would need to amnesty Boozer, trade Dunleavy, Butler and Snell for no contracts.

The most that Anthony can make is $22,500,000 a season. The Bulls can hypothetically offer him that much BUT they would have to move Gibson for nothing in return.

I do not believe that the Bulls would want to deal Gibson/Dunleavy/Butler/Snell and amnesty Boozer just to add Carmelo.

Thus, the Bulls have to sell him on a pretty sizable pay cut.

Part of why I think he ends up staying in NYC.

Here's my take. Thanks for the post, Codman. Really great to get some info from you, Doc & cyberx.

This means Melo is signing with the Heat.
I can totally understand Codman getting his mind blown when his sources told him that Melo would sign with the Heat.

This means that there will be an odd-man out (Bosh or Wade), and especially, that he won't sign there alone.

Codman insists on brotherhood throughout his posts, and talks about how much Melo loves his NY brothers. Therefore, I could see a S&T with Miami and New York.

Bosh/Wade probably being sent to NY.
Melo being sent to Miami with a bro or two (JR Smith?).

(however, don't really know much about LaLa, outside of the fact that she has family in Houston). The sis is probably referring to the bro's like Melo, so best-friend basically. Don't know enough about her to take a chance at deciphering this aspect.

Here, Codman isn't giving any info out, just stating his own opinion on the matter.

Blood in Blood out, a movie about three brothers who get separated and take different paths. One becomes a cop, one goes to prison where he makes a "home" for himself (exactly like Codman's previous "HOME" post) and another one becomes a heroin addict. This could mean that the original Big Three could be separated, with one of the players going HOME (Dallas for Bosh, Chicago for Rose or Cleveland for Lebron -- all three cities are major FA players this year).

The Nizkor Project is a canadian project that is dedicated to countering Holocaust denial. Free Agency is the "holocaust" for most GM's, but not for Morey who doesn't deny it and always has a backup plan. And theres always a back-up player that will step up, as we've seen with our numerous PG's throughout the years.

I might be stretching, but I think the end could be about Lin. This hard Mass, referring to his contract. Some people like him in the lockeroom (CyberX previously stressed the fact that Lin was a very important player in the lockeroom's chemistry and that his value went way beyond what he did on the court), while others are tired of his inability to burst (as a player), fulfil his potential.

S&T Parsons for someone. Would piss off some important players on the team.

    Plan A -> Kevin Love.
Plan B -> Chris Bosh (has a diamond championship (ring))

    From another Codman post:
"There are plenty of fish in the sea, though some aren't as appealing as others when you first look at them. An expensive jewel eventually loses its value, but the right situation makes it much more valuable than it appears. Sometimes you need a little Houston sunshine to escape stat sheets and the place you hyde in. Morey is non-discriminatory about everything as a good GM. All religions are welcome."

Clearly talking about Bosh, a diamond in its own right.

Plan C -> Getting a lockdown wing defender, building the bench and eventually a David West type of player. Or a Paul Pierce type.

Summer either refers to the Beach Boys album (Good Vibrations, "feel good about it"), or to the Calvin Harris song that is being played at the moment on the radio, and talks about falling in LOVE. I believe its about the Calvin Harris song.

Bob Dylan & Jessica Biel are both from Minnesota. So is Love.

    Heavy Love reference here again.

There it is for my take. IMO we can decipher all we want, 99% of deals don't go through in the NBA. So lets just relax and have a good time checking out these great posts. We are really privileged to have people like this posting on the board. Much Love to them ;)

Lets just enjoy the ride, we all know that in the end, JR will post a new breaking-news thread and that the first page will be full of this:

Is it possible that Morey can sign Melo for 18million(Guessing figures) and then S/T to Minny for Love.

    Bev
    Harden
    Melo
    Love
    Howard

Is that even possible(obviously are way above the Lux Tax)?

Amnestying Boozer's 16M and trading a great young prospect/contributor in Butler would be tough blows for the Bulls.

Love and Melo are pretty redundant, I'd rather pair one of those two guys with an elite defender (at the 3) than get both of them.

Right but my point is there is so much out there right now you can probable just come out and say what you think will happen bad more than likely someone else has already floated the idea so there really isn't a way to pin point the info back to him.

Either your going to be cryptic enough to fool people into thinking what they want to believe or your going to point to something that gives us real insight. Right now with how things are real insight is more of an educated opinion anyways so I personally think he and Cyberx could be pretty clear and it's not going to matter. However it's a fun exercise I guess which is probably the point.

^ Just in case anyone still has the false belief that Harden didn't help recruit Dwight...
