Well I think Parsons will be a Rocket next year. I'm hoping after Carmelo sees our facilities, our current players, our legends, our monetary offer and our DESPERATION to do anything to win a title he will put his name on the dotted line. If not, chandler and others could be shipped out to Minnesota for Love, and we sign Deng as our replacement at SF (like I said in my own thread)
You'd have to sign Deng first. Once you trade for Love you won't have any cap room and you can bet that Deng isn't signing for any exceptions.
If they really wanted him, Lin would be gone. I do not count "We will take him off your hands for such and such assets" as wanting him. The only offer we have heard is GSW willing to take on Lin if Parsons was part of the deal. I view that as GSW saying "We will take on Lin's contract if you give us Parsons." That does not scream of want.
We in this to win championships. You want to be romantic over a player....have a crush on D12 cuz he ain't goin' nowhere.
It's one thing to appreciate watching players that develop as a rocket. That's always fun. It is nice to see a team or player grow over time. That said- when you have a limited amount of time to win and there's a star player available- you go for it. Just like any team would have done.
