Really interested to see him in the summer league. Johnson will certainly have an opprotinity to get minutes this year due to his perimiter defense. He is an elite level athlete. I can already picture him running the floor and catching oops in transition.
The one huge problem the rockets have with Harden being the primary ball handler is that the ball sticks with him a lot and is not moved around like it needs to "case in point after watching the team ball movement by the Spurs". Harden IMO does need a true PG next to him so he's fresh for the playoffs and he's relieved from the burden of being the primary ball handler.
I remember about 6 years ago I turned on ESPN and saw a HS basketball game with Nick Johnson and Corey Joseph in the backcourt for Findlay Prep. These two guy were studs, especially Joseph, but Nick was an amazing leaper even in HS. If he was a PG i'd like hi more, but unfortunately he's an undersized SG. Courtney Lee is a good comparison but he's not as fast as Lee.

I don't see any other people stating this in the other threads either. Most people think we're not seeing either one. Personally, I'm more optimistic on Capella. If the Rockets miss out on Melo or LeBron, and if they don't include Capella in a trade this summer, I think he's wearing a Rockets uniform this upcoming season.
Very tough to rate odds either way. Gentile, I think his rights go to New Orleans with Asik. Capela, he could be traded. I see it in the 50/50 range Capela plays for Rockets.
Reminds me of OKC's Reggie Jackson pick a few years back...Morey said this draft is so good and deep that some undrafted ones would be late first or early second round talent in other years. It means Nick Johnson is likely a mid first round talent to him.

Morey's face is priceless. He definitely seems preoccupied with something, I wonder what that could be.
