hes speaking his opinion right now, if was dmorey I would regard it more. I do agree Love should be one of our top options. James > love though.
lol... Morey: "I'm going to shut Doc Rocket up for leaking info!" ... But sir, he's speaking in riddles. Morey: "Oh, well I didn't know that. As long as he's speaking in riddles..." Some of the stuff you guys come up with...
I think what he's saying is that Love could be forcing his way to Houston, but we are too focused on Melo and he may get traded elsewhere before we have a chance to redeem ourselves..
I could edit and add to my post above, but DocRoc is specifically saying, Let's go after Love, exclusively, and forget about these other pie-in-the-sky guys. Kevin Love + our bench....THAT's our play. Now, how do we get Kevin Love without surrendering any of our Big 2.5? Beats me. Our frontcourt should be Dwight, Love, Parsons. I don't harbor much love for McHale as a coach, but since he IS the coach, get players who like playing for him.
Actually you have gone back and forth so many times I can't count them. You are the most emotionally unstable poster in the history of this board. DUMAS!!!!
Once you've gone through grade school, I'm sure you'll learn the difference between an opinion and a factual statement. Then you can read a statement like "They should've gone for Love" as an opinion rather than a fact. Give it a few years. English is not an easy language to learn.
If you don't like my posts then ignore them dumbass. DUMAS? What the hell? Emotionally unstable? Talk about the little b**** with a personal grudge against Harden. You just like starting ****, that's really all you have been doing judging from your post history. Talking **** and hoping someone reacts, I reacted. You got me. Now go **** yourself.
On the contrary, I find your post quite humorous. Reading your post is like watching a chihuahua chasing it's tale and running into a wall. Albeit a slightly r****ded chihuahua so it's kinda sad but none the less still funny!
That had nothing at all to do with my post, so I don't even know how to respond to it. I guess I'll explain it again and maybe you'll understand this time: If Daryl Morey really had the power to stop Doc Rocket from leaking information that the organization doesn't want leaked, he wouldn't allow it just because he's speaking in riddles like you inferred lol.
Not a chance. At the end of the day nobody is really affected by my posts. People just love to troll and bait. Good for you. I find nothing humorous about the possibility that the Rockets might whiff on all free agents at this point. Just like I found nothing humorous when we lost the first two games at home.
Yeah. It's from "The Shawshank Redemption". Don't you remember? William Sadler's not-too-bright convict, reading from the cover of a new pile of books donated to the just-expanded prison library. "'The....Count of Monte....Cristo.' By Alexander...'Dumb-ass'." Other prisoners: "What?" William Sadler's character turns cover of book for others to read, with expression as if to say, Am I lying? Cover shows: Alexandre DUMAS. (other prisoners laughing) Andy Dufresne: (gently correcting) "Dumas (Doo-MAH)."
You see that's what I'm talking about. We already have two players that are the best at their respective positions and you act as if the team is destined for the lottery if we don't add another one of the top 3 or 4 players to them. Getting another max player will be great but not getting one does not mean we are destined for failure. You need to melow out before you run into a wall chasing that tale.
Yup. I never said the team is destined for lottery. We're destined for MEDIOCRITY. Oh we'll be in the playoffs every year but unless we make a significant upgrade to our bench or find that third star then we have no chance. We have a worse lineup as of yet than we did last year. We lost Asik already. Come on man. Look at our bench. Even you have to admit Lin - Daniels - Covington - Motiejunas - Powell is going to get us nowhere. Getting Love, Melo, or LeBron would have made it that much easier. Now we have to go back to the traditional method of 2 superstars and an outstanding supporting cast. It's possible, but at the end of the day you look at what the Heat did with mediocre coaching + a terrible bench + three stars, what the Spurs have done with three marquee players + a ridiculous supporting cast + Pop and his system. We have neither of those. We have a horrible offensive system, which may admittedly get better with chemistry, we have two stars best at their positions yes, and we have a horrible bench around them outside of Parsons and Jones in the regular season and Bev. We either go for the big three or go for big 2 with a strong bench or go for a miracle coach like Pop. We are in none of those situations. ------ Also it stands to show where you and I disagree on failure. It seems not being a lottery team constitutes as not being a failure to you. I disagree, if you are a contender anything less than an NBA championship is a failure barring freak incidents and circumstances like injury or rigged games. Yao and Tracy were failures, sure they were great players, but looking back that team failed to live up to the contender status they were pegged to be at each and every NBA season. Didn't help with the periodic first round exits, but end result is the same.
