*shrug* Sam Amick retweeted it. They both write for USA Today. Just putting it out there.

Man if they only took Duncan type deals then they are gonna have a super team. Curious what will happen.

And if they do take team friendly deals then these guys should be lauded for their commitment to the team and recognition that they already have enough money to last many lifetimes. Well one would hope they still have a ton of money left lol.

ahh man dont take that the wrong way, no offense to you.

this process is exciting and interesting in a way. but at the same time (at least after the dwight saga) its starting to get annoying. i guess it is my choice to keep following it though.

The more I think about it the more likely it is that LBJ, Wade and Melo team up then use the capspace left on lowry and other role players. This would leave Bosh out in the cold, and honestly I would be quite happy if we end up with him. Bosh and Dwight would be a scary front court, and if we go small we can have Bosh be the C and put Parsons at the PF slot.

Bosh gets a lot of flak for having low rebs and pts, but that is mainly because he is making space of LBJ and Wade who both like to drive in. I think he would definitely thrive in an enviroment where he isn't treated like a role player, ie Houston. With LBJ playing coy and Kevin Love acting like he's too good for Houston maybe Bosh is the best way to go, I'd certainly prefer him over Melo that's for sure.

I see Lowry heading to south beach to form the big 4. That only leaves us to fight other teams for Melo and Love. And while I'd take either happily, it's fewer quality FAs for more teams to fight over. And if Orlando throws an obscene offer at Parsons, we might even lose him. This may not end well at all.

    I tell you what
If the refs call the game straight
instead of 85% Star Calls [or non calls]

Their line up won't matter as much

If this happens. . . IMO . . .. this is where collusion with GM or Management input is apparent.

This level of coordination [which isn't mastermind level but coordination all the same] is what makes the NBA a bunch of backroom deals

Theyre taking paycuts. There is nothing you can say if a guy takes a paycut

You don't get how this works.
Bosh is not getting left out. They all know what they are doing and they are all returning to Miami. Come on man.

I know haha they are not doing anything wrong. They value winning over money which to me is commendable

No way Bosh gets left out like that. He will be back as well. Melo won't be coming to Miami either I think all of this work will end up being for Lowry. Lowry-Wade-Bosh-LBJ that'll be tough to beat

There is nothing wrong with players agreeing with each other to take lower salaries to help their team sign other players.

Eliminating max contracts while keeping the salary cap structure would make this less likely to happen.

Its not the pay cuts that is the issue
Its the Colluding. . . esp colluding with management that is an issue

If you think Riley is not in the thick of this . .. well you are naive.

Naive? Of course Riles is in the middle of it. Do you consider all salary negotiations "colluding with management"? LOL!

Your tendency to see an evil conspiracy in things is in full bloom here. They are playing within the rules. Simple as that.

I think you need to look up what constitutes illegal colluding and it will become clear.

For the record, I don't like the Heat any more than you do.
