I agree. I would MUCH rather have a thread wherein we parse cryptic riddles from Doc and speculate whether he actually has any real info or not than to have all of these dozens of crap "Lin is a hero" vs "Lin is a goat" debates that the board has been dominated by. Plus it is summer. There is literally NOTHING better NBA related to talk about than speculation around the draft and free agency.

Don't count on it. Gonna take some real hard times before his generation grows out of it.

He pre-dates Morey. He also got locked out of the loop after Morey took over because Morey's more secretive with his info. But I wouldn't be surprised if Morey leaks stuff to him and/or cyberx just to mess around with clutchfans.

But let's face it. When the Rockets actually does something, like the trade with Asik, nothing is ever leaked. Not a single comment by insiders here or in the national media pegged Asik to Pelicans.

Champstocome is the reason we cant have nice things. Ok so doc s predictions were off a bit recently. So what?! What idiot thinks an insider will be 100% all the time! Does it make you feel better to run your mouth saying i told you so? Great good job good effort, now go and crawl back into your hole. Every damn time cyberx or doc makes a post, theres always some snot nosed idiot who has to chime in with "neener neener". Its so effing annoying. Why the hell cant morons just leave things be

Amick, Shelburne, Beck and Woj all reported the Rockets had a deal in place for Asik (and Lin), IIRC.

    Cyberx and Codman, well...lol.

So instead of just keeping things to yourself, and perhaps not entering a thread that you don't agree with, you decide to rant and rail against a man nobody asked you to listen to? Tell me, what makes you think Clutch doesn't appreciate what Doc Rocket brings to the site? And what makes you think he isn't upset that posters like you drove Doc away in the first place? Doc has been here for FAR longer than you, and his posts have ALWAYS been appreciated here until recently when the new generation of posters came in thinking they knew how everything worked simply because they know how to use a computer. Guys like Doc are what make this site so much better than other fan sites on the internet. In fact, you obviously like the site so much that you became a member. So instead of being ungrateful and condescending, take a moment and reflect on how you're coming off.

Folks as many older posters know guys like Doc and CyberX report what is truly on the works. Deals do not always pan out. Anyone remember the Damon Stoudamire fiasco? It was good as done until the end result. Robert horry for eliott was another and don't forget maxwell for Jay Williams. If people on this board do not wish to partake in the fun then there are other boards. I think you can join the espn board where you can discuss the news after it is happening. Speculation and possibilities are part of what made this board special. If you can't respect that there is no need for you to post or read anything posted.

Umm... Rockets themselves tweeted they could create capspace. I could tell you they had a deal in place. No one pegged the destination nor roughly what the Rockets can obtain.

But if you want more examples. Who pegged the Harden trade? Or the TRob trade? Or the Morris trade? Or the Hamilton trade?

Yeah no. We, who have been here a while, all have a good idea of who it is. And if we are smart, we'll never say who it is. How does it help us to out this person?

Insider riddles this place: awesome, confusing, entertaining, fans work together to solve it
Insider silence this place: sucks, it's probably inflammatory based talk, repetitive, heated arguments that are valid on both sides, long discussions on jorts which did not suck

I really wonder if doc rocket would come back if Lin's fans get traded away. Hmmmm???? BC he loves Houston. Lin fans don't love Houston. hmmmmmm

Did Doc Rocket say it was Lin fans that made him leave, or are you blowing smoke out your ass?

Educated guess based on timing of switch from here to twitter. See what I did there? I blew that smoke from my ass directly into your mouth. Eat it. Like it. Love it.
