Amick and Woj are the only NBA writers worth following.

posting what Broussard, Bucher, or any of the ESPN hacks in LA like Shelburne & Mcnenamin say, does a disservice to this message board.

This is why I call him Rick PUKER.

When Broussard is laughing at you....you've been owned.

So if they all opt out, and a team offers Bosh the max, isn't he just a little bit tempted?

Is it possible that this was going to happen and then someone told Ric that he essentially realized that he raised a red flag about tampering, and then he had to withdraw it? and now he's potentially jeopardized a deal that was going to go through?

I think all of them are on the same page and will agree on their salaries going forward before Bosh and Wade opt out.

Bosh knows he will be offered the max from several teams but will stay in Miami to ride on LeBron's back to a couple more titles.

It's laughable how so many people overreact at the Heat's loss to the Spurs. Yes, they got demolished, but let's not forget this was a very very strong team. Anytime Lebron's playing that team's got a chance at the NBA championship. The Spurs brand of offense is a matchup problem for the Heat. I still think that if the Heat played any other team in the West they would have won. Wade and Bosh will follow LeBron's lead. The Big 3 will remain in Miami and if they get their hands on Lowry and Ariza, they have to be the odds end favorite again...like they've been for the past 4 years.

So he's giving up tens of millions for the chance at more rings?

Why are we so sure Lowry would even be a fit in Miami?

Yeah he's a point guard and Miami could use an upgrade over Chalmers, but if I'm Miami and I have around $15 million to spend, why spend the bulk of that room on another guy who is also going to want the ball in his hands a good portion of the time? After paying Lowry his quote of $10-$12 you still need rebounding, rim protection, and another SG off the bench to let Wade take longer rests.

Why is Miami so keen on another "star" guy, that the solution is not to fill the team with solid role players?

Miami could sign Ramon Sessions (who is 70% of the player Lowry is) for probably $3 million, take a chance on Emeka Okafor at a good price of probably $4 million (give them rim protection and rebounding), Vince Carter at $3 million (to allow Wade to rest through longer stretches), and maybe still have a bit left over to sign another big guy, like Kris Humphries.

The way I see it, I'd be so much more worried about a Miami team that looks like this:

PG - Ramon Sessions / Cole / Napier
    SG - Wade / Vince
    SF - Lebron / whoever
    PF - Bosh / Humphries / Haslem
    C - Okafor

vs a Miami team that is

    PG - Lowry / Cole / Napier
SG - Wade / league minimum guy
    SF - Lebron
PF - Bosh / Haslem / league minimum guy
C - League minimum guy / league minimum guy

That is my guess. The "big 3" will stay in Miami and sacrifice salary so Riles can put enough pieces around them for another 2-3 year run.

My percentages for each player staying with the Heat:

    Wade: 100%
    LeBron: 95%
    Bosh: 90%

Bosh is the guy who might leave because this is his last chance at a max deal.

hoopster325, I'm not sure Lowry would put the Heat over the top either.

I think Bosh would be the best fit for Miami. Melo would be so deferring as a teammate of Lebron because he's a redundancy without the ball handling wade provides in transition. Bosh can at least play the 5 with the big boys. Bad for Miami if Bosh leaves.

Bucher should just quit his job.

2007 - proclaimed Kobe will never wear a Laker jersey again or he would quit.

2009 - proclaimed sources told him Bron/Bosh to the Bulls a done deal.

2010 - proclaimed DRose the best player in the L and better than Lebron. Claims Lebron is simply a glue guy.

How does this guy still have a job?

I'm trying to figure this out
He is the one most likely to be screwed over in this deal
