The entire team is the point guard.

The PnR between Harden/Lin/Parsons and Howard is so beautiful.

Man this further cements for me that Howard is our centerpiece star. I can do without having Harden if it means getting Bron/Melo. I'm not saying I want Harden to leave, I'm just saying I wouldn't be hurt as much to trade a star for a star.

Howard proved in the playoffs, he is the emotional leader.

Completely agree. Dwight has proven to be the most serious leader on the team, which is kind of hilarious given his off-the-court persona. The best way to get a feel for this is to watch him in post-game interviews, of which he should have about three times as many as they give him. He actually never gives the boilerplate responses of almost all professional athletes. He'll call out what they could have done better when they just achieved a huge victory. He's serious about winning and deserves to be regarded as the team's respected leader.

James is an amazing athlete, but he is practically the opposite of a leader. That's fine. Let him be the high scorer that gives us a major SG threat while playing an inside-out offense. But also let Dwight, three-time (in a row) Defensive Player of the Year take him to task for his defense laziness with the full backing of McHale and the rest of the higher-ups. I was a bit skeptical, though still enthusiastic, when we got Dwight. But now that I've watched him for a season, I say Houston's chances of ever winning a championship fall greatly on letting Dwight be the undisputed, and supported, leader of the team.

It's ironic how all season sans the Portland series everyone was poo pooing Dwight's lack of post dominance. Now that a highlight tape comes out everyone is jumping and down in joy. How people forget that a highlight tape is a highlight tape. It's meant to be one sided. I love how Dwight took it to a whole another level in the playoffs and he seemed like the only player out there to care *cough* Harden *cough*. But, let's not get carried away that he's the second coming of Kareem. He still has a lot of work to do post moves wise. I still get chills thinking about him getting dominated by Perkins, Adams, and freakin Bargnani. Asik will eat him for lunch if he doesn't improve.
