He's a better version of Jeremy Lin.

I can see a little Dennis in the way he moves.

    I'm in on this pick.

Not sure if he's a 1 or 2. Doesn't really matter though. He'll replace Lin as 1st guard off the bench I bet.

Good pick, especially if he can defend... I haven't seen a lot of his game, maybe a more athletic Avery Bradley?

    1) Why aren't people making the Hardon Johnson jokes yet? I'm disappointed in all of you.

    2) Johnson dissing Harden's D probably has something to do with Harden playing at Arizona State, Johnson's rival school.

I've seen a whole lot of Johnson but not a lot of Avery.

    Johnson in a nutshell:
    -dangerous scorer. Can be streaky
-solid defender and great weak side shot blocker
    -extreme athleticism
-he's a leader and he'll leave it all on the floor

He can grow to become an impactful rotation player. I like him more than the Canaan. I'm feeling really good about Johnson's chances too if Lin is traded.

In all honesty I can see a little Jason terry in him. Exchange some scoring skill for athleticism/defense and you've got nick Johnson. Same alma mater as well.

I agree he'll be a steal. Morey is the master of the second round.

I immediately thought of Francis as well on some of those dunks.

Ahhh, good point about Harden not playing D. Hadn't realized that until you just pointed it out right now for the first time.

    Nah..
Honestly , similar style to Brandon Roy. Plays D, Shoots the 3 well, Can handle the ball, can finish above the rim.
Definitely a steal in the 2nd round, quickly replaces Hammy/Casspi

Well, at least Canaan would have a happy ending to his time with the Rockets then.

Dang man, those are some very similar numbers. Thanks for pointing those out. I was thinking Avery too a little, but those numbers scream it.

I love how he is already wanting to attach himself to Bev. I think this is a great pick up by Morey. It might end up being as good of a 2nd round pick as Parsons .

Oh man -- now I bet harden won't pass him the ball. (Let's be honest though...Harden wasn't going to be passing this sucker the ball anyhow -- unless maybe he beats him off after he is done with Canaan).
