Drafted the best prospect in the draft in Embiid, then trades #10 for Saric, a future 1st and 2nd. 76ers will be terrible again next year, thus guaranteeing another top pick.

In a few years, Philly is going to be a handful in the east.

Philly keep losing while Hinkie keeps winning?

That trade was unbelievable. A 1st and a 2nd to trade up 2 spots? Damn.

Not if he keeps drafting damaged goods.

I would have loved to see the sixers give it a crack this year if they got wiggins. I guess another year tanking for philly.

    MCW
    Anderson
    Wiggins
Vonleh/thad (10th pick as Embiid Slides)
    Nerlens

    Sounds intriguing!

I supposed they'll be a better team for it, but I'm definitely not high on Saric!

Should be interesting to see how Saric fits in with all of this. If both Noels and Embiid pan out (and admittedly that's a very big if)- do you trade Noel or Saric? Or do you try playing big with a stretch 4 at SF? (That be something I'd be interested in seeing).

when you build like the way they are ... its a crap shoot ... you hope 2 or 3 of your picks turn into something worth building around ... I think MCW and Wiggins are a lock to be great for the long Haul ... you get a couple of more of these guys to work out along with TONS of cap space ... you never know ... 4 year plan to rock the East ..

If all of the prospects pan out they would be a perennial contender for 10 years

It won't be long before the "Analytics GM who's never played basketball and don't know how to treat players like non-assets will never get a star and is overhyped, overrated and will never win a championship because he keeps making trades and outsmarting himself moneyball GMs suck" storylines start coming for Hinkie.

I definitely see the upside..but meh. Instilling a culture of losing can really drag down players. I know Morey stock-piled assets but at least we were somewhat competitive the whole time.

The 1st rounder is for the 2017 draft.

Team should be awesome in 2020.

MCW, Saric , Noel and Embid.
Now all they need is a guard in next year draft. Emmanuel Mudiay anyone?

    Is he injured?

    If not, then pass.

    Definitely agree.

In 2k player ratings go down when you're a perennial loser :p
