He stopped the Ghanians from tying...which we would've advanced anyway. So, again, you are incorrect.

I know Slowy. I'm just wondering what team you're going to be cheering for after Sunday morning? Holland? Germany? Brasil? Argentina? France? USA?

Let's just face it, US will remind Mexico of this forever.

I heard Zusi gets all the tequila he wants for free in Mexico.

This is stupid. If he did not score the goal and they ended up in a tie with Ghana the USA would still advance outright on points without goal difference. The only way USA gets eliminated was if Ghana won by two goals. ( provided the result held in the USA game) so in summation the USA don't owe **** to this stupid prima donna.

Yea don't understand why anyone would think those meme's are funny. At no point today was the U.S. eliminated. Now if Ghana was winning and Portugal tied the game to save our bacon then I could see it.

Just trying to get us back.

Maybe their World Cup math is rusty because they didn't expect to make it.

I read some of the replies, and Swoly, those two goals against Cameroon, were bad calls, and even the FIFA thinks so, by dropping the linesman:

    http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/sports/2014/06/20/0620-referee-dropped-by-fifa.html

    also:

    Law 11 - offside
    No offence
There is no offside offence if a player receives the ball directly from:

    a goal kick
    a throw-in
    a corner kick

    http://www.fifa.com/aboutfifa/footb...eing/laws-of-the-game/law/newsid=1290867.html

so those 2 goals, plus the penalty (handball) that the ref didnt call in the game vs croatia, Mexico would have been 1st place by goals differential, and we would play against chile not holland.

^ I haven't seen their explanation for the interpretation of the rule applied that day, but I will assume they thought a Mexican attacker touched the ball in the second one. The first one looked a little more "iffy."

Why do you even worry about that? I don't cheer for anyone but MEXICO. Will I continue to watch the World Cup? Sure. Will I cheer for anyone in particular? Nope. Both the USA and MEXICO have advanced past the first round in the last few Cups and some not past the First Round, but I still won't cheer for anyone but my own. What makes you think that because my team is out I'll change teams? Like I've ever done that. Ha.

Those MEMEs were made by other people, not me, and surely they must think they're funny. I am just posting them here because they're all over the interwebs.

 I love how y'all don't think Portugal had anything to do with y'all's advance. Portugal lost badly, then stopped Ghana from winning, which would have put y'all in a bind and searching for links to graphics with COLORED SQUARES.

Mexico didn't lose at all this Cup. How about that? Take THAT away.

Somebody's pissed off the US advanced....

Honestly you should consider Mexico even being at the world cup to be a minor miracle. 4th place in CONCACAF is pretty sorry dude. Then you were gifted an easy group in the world cup.

Thank the United States for even making the World Cup, not whining about the calls of a fallible referee.

The only important thing is that you will LOSE on Sunday to the Netherlands. And I will NOT take THAT away from you.

and you should thank Germany for not scoring lots of goals today, or scoring a lot against Portugal.
