I reluctantly voted yes, I didn't have a player in mind to take over him, but Eurostash players generally don't work out for us, so hopefully we can move him for future assets. I understand the cap situation though.
Stashing him saves something like 500k. Hate this, don't even worry about the upside because we will never see it. Tired of hearing about these euro players that we will bring over to make a difference.
I hope he comes over. I think you can negotiate twenty percent under slot which would get you basically to the cap charge anyway.
I like his defensive potential, but not on offense. Hope we can use him in trade with Lin and possibly with the soon to be to acquired NO pick in the potential Asik pick, to clear cap space and get a future 1st rounder in the 20's.
I think it does actually. You can't force him to play in Europe. If he doesn't sign the waiver he hits your cap.
