That's how wanted he is right now. Bubble teams trying to get under the LT are interested, but that additional ~$7mil price tag makes any GM wince. I would be ecstatic if we can move him without a cost or just cash.
Read again. The Asik pick will NOT be used to unload Lin. The report just says we plan on moving it in a future deal. I think at worst we have to give up the 25 this year or a future 1st.
I know it is extremely unlikely, but man Jeremy Lin, the 25th, a future 2nd and DMo for Dario Saric could be a heck of a fit now that Orlando took him after trading Afflalo...

I first read and saw the picture thinking "What the hell is Marcus Thornton doing commenting on Lin and the Warriors" Then to realize the name was Thompson lol.
I would give it a B-/C+ at best if we don't get something else good in return. Aside from Harden, we have no other playmakers besides Lin. We need someone else that can handle the ball.
Is morey confident we can move Lin without giving up anything, is there really a good market out there ? even with the expiring $15mill ballon contract ? -used the 25th pick -used the cash we had left on a 2nd round pick -won't use 2015 Pelicans pick to move Lin via. (feigen)
I don't quite understand your logic here. NO ONE WANTS LIN. That is the problem. We have to pay to get rid of him.
He went from not being in the NBA to the Warriors, to the Rockets, to the Knicks... and now he's going in reverse order from the Knicks, to the Rockets, to the Warriors, to not being in the NBA.
Where have you been? Morey wants to dump Lin and get no salary back in return so that he can free up that cap space. He wants to free up the cap space so that he can pay a big-time free agent to play for the Rockets. It's not about "getting something else good in return".
