I never watched the last 3 episode of the show. It was just so stupid, and ironic considering I already stuck with the show that long.
Just a delightful series to watch. I probably saved myself lots of time just watching the show - now i have a better idea where to visit.
Orange is the New Black is really good. Also, Star Trek Into Darkness World War Z were both added earlier this month I believe.
Yeah I think it is fair to good. Soft music playing each time a special moment starts, all lesbians are smart, all men are one dimensional characters change episode to episode to fit the need. It is the sopranos with lesbians instead of italians and much more poorly done and way less funny.
Wow, I watched 'An Idiot Abroad' and that show is just pure entertainment. I've been addicted to it, and it's cool to see the related acts (Ricky Gervais show, The Moaning of Life, Karl Pilkington's bibliographies, and Derek, which is on Netflix btw). One of the best.
Cocaine Cowboys is an excellent documentary about the 70s/80s cocaine trade in Miami, hadn't seen it until recently. Long but really interesting stuff.

Eh. I'm just barely into the second season. I guess it's fair to say there aren't many 'good' male characters, but in general I think they were more than just one dimensional. But even if that was the case, well I've seen plenty of shows with one dimensional female characters so I'm ok with something a little different. Also; since it's a women's prison, I think you have to kind of expect what you're getting into. Very few men characters that have smaller roles were kind of a given imo. Overall I think would agree with a lot of the reviews; it's well done and much better than I would have anticipated.
I like all the actors, the concept is lacking and so is the execution. By one dimensional I could say the homophobic, the impotent and the chauvinistic and you would know exactly who I mean. Motivations and basic character attributes change to advance the plot. 100% ethical incompetence or setting up hits on inmate. Cold and calculating for own best interests or ultimate martyr? Depends on what the script needs. I don't identify with the protagonist, really anyone and if they were going for a comedy it should have more laughs. Personal opinion, I could see why someone would overlook the flaws.
