The media is a key. They have a vested interest to tell the truth. That truth: Harden, Dwight & Lebron should just be ridiculous for ratings

The media will never side with us. In the Dwight sweepstakes, they were dumbfounded when it happened to the point that Broussard had to float a BS story out there about Dwight having second thoughts, AFTER he had already told Morey that he was committing to us. If Lebron came to Houston, it would be the same deal. The haters would come out in full force, perhaps even more than they did after the Decision Pt 1.
Exactly, if the national media proclaims that the Rockets are in the lead, fans will read that, get turned off, and stop reading articles on the situation in the future. Imagine back in 2010 if ESPN led with the story from the get go "LeBron/Bosh/Wade will likely team up in Miami." You'd think they'd get anywhere near the ratings/clicks/revenue that they ended up getting with Chicago/NY fans following their every move? Media's in the business of making money. LeBron to Houston is horrible for business.
I like how "real players" is in quote. It's like even the ESPN twitter guy doesn't believe what he's posting.
You have to understand one thing about Tim McMahon, he is a hard core Dallas homer. I tweeted with him quite a bit last year at this time because he was constantly talking on the Radio and in his articles about how good the Mavs chances were of landing Dwight. Tim convinces himself of these things and reports them as if they make since. Dirk and Chandler are great players but both are old and could break down at a moments notice. They provide a very small window for either Melo or Lebron.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Source tells AP that Dwyane Wade has made no decision yet. Second source calls the Big 3 summit today "good and positive."</p>— Tim Reynolds (@ByTimReynolds) <a href="https://twitter.com/ByTimReynolds/statuses/481951005827801088">June 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Not surprising. There's going to be a lot of sad people when the big 3 re up in Miami. Hope More just doesn't wait and screws up a possible Lowry or something.
"good and positive" Was to be expected. I really wouldn't take much from this. Just be glad Melo isn't fielding a visit to Miami. That'd spell bad news for our chances to both LeBron and Carmelo.
I think we'd be the 2010 heat all over again but by the following season we'd be the'11&'12 Heat: Fan Favs and the team everyone wants to beat. I'd be cool w that.
